Additional information
General remarks Left of the original text field and in between the depicted persons, text has been added. It can be inferred from this text that Johanna Taets van Amerongen, granddaughter of Ernst, renewed the painting. She died in 1552, so the renewal must have been done before that year. The original date for the painting, however, must have been after 1496, since this date is mentioned in the original text as the year of death of Ernst Taets van Amerongen.
