The original location of the slab is unknown as no mention of the family can be found in the register of graves

Short description:

Rectangular 'headstone' (hooftstuck) featuring an inscription in Gothic textualis, which can now be seen only along three of its sides; in the centre a rectangular compartment with a skull and a mark between two shields accollé

Condition:

The slab shows some wear in places and the left side appears to have been cut down, thereby losing the inscription along the edge

'[H]ier leit begraven Fye Henrick Ghijsbertz. wedue sterf anno XVc XXXVII[...]'

Translation:

Here lies buried Fye, widow of Henrick Ghijsbertz., died 1537(?)

Two shields accollé with a lion rampant reversed and three lances 2 and 1 (for husband Henrick Ghijsbertz.) and three trefoils 2 and 1 (for Fye herself)
